On 21 February 2024, WTTC hosted a webinar to share our landmark Environmental and Social Research framework – developed in partnership with Oxford Economics and sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia. Our model breaks down Travel & Tourism’s footprint across a wide range of indicators across 185 countries and across various income groups. It is also broken down by sub-sector as well as direct and indirect impacts. The ESR even tracks across 15 UN sustainable goals. The data is available on our ESR microsite and it has informed a variety of informative reports. These can all be found on the WTTC Research Hub.
